Strive for Imperfection

I had this poem saved in my draft for the last couple of months because I thought it was incomplete. Today I re-read it and it looked pretty… done to me lol. Enjoy!

Who coined the word perfect,
If perfection is a myth?
To teach us to hate the things
We were born with.
The gifts we have,
might change the world
If only we’d let them be.
Instead of burying them deep
afraid to set them free.
